How to Order Mobile Services and Prerequisites |
Using the Online Control Panel that comes with your Alentus Hosted Exchange Account, you can easily add the GoodLink or BlackBerry Mobile Messaging Service to your account automatically. The prerequisites for using Mobile Messaging include:
- A ExchangeMail Power 500 or ExchangeMail Executive Exchange account with us.
- Your Hosted Exchange mailbox with us is either Blackberry or GoodLink enabled, which you can enable yourself.
- For BlackBerry, an existing wireless Blackberry Data plan (a Web plan is not sufficient; you must have a Data plan) from a cellular provider, such as Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Telus, Bell, Rogers, AT&T Wireless, Cingular, Sprint, Nextel, etc.
- Your operating system is Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP.
- An MS Outlook 2000/2002/2003 already setup and connected to your hosted Exchange account. MS Outlook 2003 is strongly recommended.
